Uber to suspend service in Greece after new legislation
Ride-hailing service Uber said on Thursday it would suspend its licensed service in Greece after the approval of local legislation which imposes stricter regulation on the sector.
Uber, which operates a licensed service in the Greek capital, has faced opposition from local taxi drivers who accuse it of taking their business.

Protest of Taxi Drivers in Russe
In protest march in Ruse taxi drivers from across the country demanded a fair trial for his murdered colleague. The crime was committed a year ago in the village of Nikolovo, and two students were accused for the crime. Turkish taxi drivers protest against Uber amid second hearing of trial in Istanbul
A group of taxi drivers gathered early on March 12 outside Istanbul’s Çağlayan Courthouse to protest against Uber ahead of the second hearing of a lawsuit opened against the transport company by the United Taxi Drivers Association.
