Smartphone addiction has become an issue of serious concern for all age groups, but the addiction of children towards these phones is seen as a dangerous trend by researchers. Smartphone addiction is not less harmful than alcoholism or drug abuse. During the on ongoing COVID-19 pandemic this addition has increased manifold.
More firms included in loan scheme
The Finance Ministry has decided to allow the inclusion in the fifth phase of its cheap state loans program, known as the "Deposit To Be Returned," of 10,000 enterprises active in retail commerce, food service, tourism, culture, sport and transport that were forced to close due to the coronavirus.

Nearly 36,000 people violate curfews
Officials have taken action against a total of 35,544 people that violated weeknight curfews and weekend lockdowns in Turkey between Jan. 4 and Jan. 11, the country's Interior Ministry has said.
Curfews are in effect across 81 provinces from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. while the lockdown lasts from 9 p.m. on Fridays to 5 a.m. on Mondays.
