Police issue 18 fines over lack of masks
The Hellenic Police (ELAS) on Wednesday recorded 18 instances in which citizens had not been wearing a mask in an enclosed public space, a police statement said on Thursday.
Of those violations, four were in Western Greece, three on Crete and two in Attica. Since the government began easing the lockdown on May 4, 304 such violations have been recorded nationwide.

Demand for technicians soars in lockdown

ELAS records 95 violations of Covid restrictions
Continuing efforts to enforce restrictions that remain in place to curb the spread of the coronavirus, the Hellenic Police (ELAS) on Tuesday recorded 23 violations in which citizens had not been wearing a mask in an enclosed public space, a police statement said on Wednesday.
Of those violations, 10 were in Attica, seven on islands in the northern Aegean and four in Western Greece.

Turks under 14 venture out for four hours as virus rules ease
Turkey's juniors got their first chance to venture outside on May 13 after weeks of partial curfew, under relaxed coronavirus restrictions.
According to an Interior Ministry circular sent to governor's offices across Turkey, people aged 14 and under were granted the chance to go outside on May 13 between 11.00 a.m. and 15.00 p.m. local time.

China is planning to implement a huge new testing regime in Wuhan after new coronavirus cases were reported in the city for the first time since April 3.
The six new cases were reported in the same housing complex on Sunday and Monday, and according to state media, all arose from transmission within the country.

I understand (and have full respect for) those among us who want to return to where we were in late February, for reasons that have to do with their economic survival and that of their families. However, I am less certain about the rest of us: What exactly is it that we are so anxious to return to?
