Lufthansa to cut more costs, as cabin crew start strike
German airline Lufthansa announced plans on Nov. 7 to cut costs at its Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Lufthansa Cargo unit to revive profits but faces a fresh challenge to its efforts with a cabin crew strike.
About 1,300 Flights Were Canceled due to a Lufthansa Strike
About 1,300 flights and 180,000 passengers will be affected by the two-day strike, which was formally started by the cabin crew at German Lufthansa. Most of its flights from Germany, including intercontinental flights from Frankfurt and Munich, were canceled, NOVA reported.

New Cheap Flights Start between Sofia, Bulgaria and Germany
New low-cost flights between Sofia and Germany are launched by the German low-cost airline Eurowings. The carrier's airplanes start flights between the Bulgarian capital Sofia and the German cities Stuttgart and Dusseldorf from October 31st. The flights will be twice a week. The planes to Stuttgart will fly Tuesday and Sunday, and to Dusseldorf on Thursday and Saturday.
