Maneskin comes to Istanbul

Italian rock music group Maneskin, which won the 65th Eurovision Song Contest with its song 'Zitti E Buoni,' is getting ready to meet its Turkish fans. Consisting of lead vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi and drummer Ethan Torchio, the band will take the stage on July 23 at Istanbul KüçükÇiftlik Park.

Italian Eurovision winner returns negative test after drug furore

Damiano David, the flamboyant singer for Italy's Eurovision-winning rockers Maneskin, tested negative for drugs, the contest organisers said May 24, following a furore over speculation he snorted cocaine at the final.

The red lederhosen-clad vocalist was tested after footage of him leaning over a table in the hospitality area of the competition in Rotterdam went viral.

Italian rockers Maneskin win pandemic-defying Eurovision

Italian rock foursome Maneskin won the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam on May 22 in a glammed-up message of hope for a world emerging from the coronavirus pandemic.

As the tournament returned after a year off because of the virus, the high-kicking, lederhosen-wearing Italians beat off stiff competition from France and Switzerland with their song "Zitti e Buoni".
