Ljubljana only 279th in European city air quality viewer
Copenhagen – Slovenia’s capital has placed 279th among 344 European cities in the European city air quality viewer with its air quality categorised as poor. Maribor ranks 207th having moderately clean air.
State forestry company holds first auction of valuable timber
Kočevska Reka – The SiDG state forestry company held its first public auction of valuable timber in Kočevska Reka on Monday, with almost the entire offering of around 650 m3 of timber being sold. The auction was visited by Agriculture Minister Jože Podgoršek, who endorsed this method of selling wood from the state-owned forests.

'May, Month of Mathematics' to return for fourth time
BELGRADE - The Center for the Promotion of Science and the Mathematical Institute of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU) is organizing the fourth edition of a national popular science event organize dubbed 'May, Month of Mathematics' (M3) from May 5 to June 5.
