Bus drivers strike for 10th day in Thessaloniki, demanding unpaid wages
Thessaloniki bus workers walked off the job for the 10th day in a row on Monday, demanding three months in unpaid wages.
The workers gathered outside the offices of the Thessaloniki urban transport organization (OASTH) to protest.
In comments to the Athens-Macedonia News Agency, the head of the workers' union Dimitris Tsermenidis said employees have not been paid since July.

Bulgarian Historical Museum To Restore Kaimakchalan Monument
The National Historical Museum (NHM) has decided to restore the Bulgarian military monument at Kaimakchalan, announced the Director of NHM Bozhidar Dimitrov.
"NHM has extensive experience in restoring military cemeteries and monuments in Macedonia. We have restored 10 so far," pointed out Dimitrov.
These are located in Novo Selo, Malo Chichevo, Berantsi and Drenovo.
Desecrated Bulgarian Memorial Plaque 'Was Illegal', Skopje Says
Macedonia's Foreign Ministry has declared "illegal" a Bulgarian memorial plaque placed on Kaimakchalan peak, at the Macedonian-Greek border, which a journalist from Skopje claims to have demolished.

Thasos schools reopen after fire damage repairs
Schools on the northern Aegean island of Thasos opened a week late on Tuesday.
The beginning of the new school year had been delayed because local authorities have been repairing widespread damage caused by a fire that burned for three days earlier this month.

Bulgaria to Allocate BGN 0.3 M in Assistance to Macedonia
Bulgaria's government has approved a decision to grant financial assistance to Macedonia to help it deal with the aftermath of floods in August.
The BGN 0.3 M worth of funding will be disbursed from the Foreign Ministry's relief budget and comes as an addition to the technical and humanitarian assistance provided so far, the cabinet has said.
