Nikolic,Ivanov: We need to enhance cooperation at all levels

BELGRADE - President of the Republic of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov arrived on an official visit to Serbia on Friday at the invitation of his Serbian counterpart Tomislav Nikolic.

President Ivanov received a ceremonial welcome in front of the Palace of Serbia, and the meeting between the two presidents will be followed by the talks between the two countries' delegations.

Macedonian president to visit Belgrade on Friday

BELGRADE - President of the Republic of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov will arrive in Serbia for an official visit on Friday, October 31, at the invitation of his Serbian counterpart Tomislav Nikolic.

The visit is made in the spirit of friendship and close ties between the two neighboring nations, the Serbian president's media relations office said in a release.

40% of Serbians Optimistic About Economic Situation

Some 40% of Serbian citizens expect the economic situation to improve, while in Croatia such hopes have only 11% of the people, 26% in Montenegro, and 37% in Macedonia.

The survey shows that 33 per cent of Serbian citizens expect their financial situation to improve, money.bg informs, citing the Tanjug news agency.

Serbian, Macedonian writers sign cooperation protocol

BELGRADE - Association of Serbian Writers (UKS) President Radomir Andric and President of Macedonian Writers' Association Vele Smilevski signed on Tuesday a protocol on cooperation between the two associations.

The signing of this binding document is a result and the crown of a longstanding and fruitful cooperation, UKS said in a release.

Obradovic, Jolevski urge experience-sharing, cooperation

BELGRADE - The chairperson of the Serbian parliamentary Committee on Defence and Interior Affairs Marija Obradovic said during a meeting with Macedonian Defence Minister Zoran Jolevski that it is important for regional countries to act together in order to be able to respond to the challenges of protecting local population.
