EU officials hail FYROM parliament vote
The European Union's foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, and the bloc's Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn on Friday hailed the approval by the parliament in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia of constitutional changes to rename the country "Republic of North Macedonia."

Macedonia MPs Pass Amendments to Change Country's Name
Macedonia's parliament backed all four of the government-proposed amendments on changing the country's constitution on Friday night, allowing the country's name to be changed to the Republic of North Macedonia.
All present 81 MPs from the ruling parties and from several opposition parties backed the amendments, securing the much needed two-thirds majority.

Zaev has secured majority to ratify constitutional changes
The government of Prime Minister Zoran Zaev has secured the parliamentary majority required to finalize the four constitutional amendments that will change the name of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia to North Macedonia, a ruling party spokesman cited by MIA news agency reported on Friday.
