President Radev: No Serious Progress on Recommendations Made in EC CVM Report
There has been no serious progress so far on the recommendations made by the European Commission in the latest CVM report, the comments by power-holders and opposition on it are divergent because the report itself is meandering, Bulgaria's President Roumen Radev said on 16th of November before the start of the official meeting at G. Half a Million Bulgarians will Travel for Christmas Holidays
Half a million Bulgarians will travel for Christmas and New Year. Most people will travel for the New Year's Day, bTV reports.
Three days of vacation around those holiday in Bulgaria average about 300 leva per person. If the trip is abroad, the amount jumps nearly twice.
Expectations are that 120,000 Bulgarians will welcome New Year's Eve outside the country.
62% of Bulgarians Claim to Believe in God
62% of Bulgarians claim to believe in God, while 26% firmly state they do not believe, reports mediapool.
This is clear from the second part of the study of the value attitudes of the population conducted by the Trend Agency on the order of the Right Policy Institute. From October 3 to 10, 1004 people were interviewed face-to-face.

Huge Sculpture to Replace Communist's Mausoleum in Sofia
The new, 14-metre-tall sculpture by Bulgarian artist Plamen Deyanoff, called 'The Bronze House', is set to be installed at the site of the former mausoleum at Prince Alexander of Battenberg Square in Sofia by the end of the year, to mark the start of Bulgaria's first EU presidency in January.

Zaev: Balkans must no longer be powder keg
SKOPJE - The Balkans must no longer be a powder keg like it was in the past, Macedonian PM Zoran Zaev said as the Summit100 conference of business leaders from southeastern Europe drew to a close in Skopje on Tuesday.
All Western Balkan nations must be drivers of growth and we need to be on par with EU member states, Zaev told a press conference.

Harry Potter is the Most Read Book Among Teenagers in Bulgaria
Today, the 18 most read books among the young people at the age of 18 in Bulgaria were presented. The survey is by 24chasa newspaper and according to them the ranking leads the series of J. K. Rowling about the child magician Harry Potter. Among the first titles there is only one Bulgarian author - Anton Dontchev's "Time apart".
