Sweden will not share with Russia the results of an investigation into the explosions that damaged the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines, even though the majority owner is a Russian company.
As a reminder, the Russian company Gazpromneft owns 51 percent of the gas pipeline, and the rest is made up of German, French and Dutch companies.

Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson on July 3 vowed to abide by the recent agreement with Türkiye, including pledges on extradition of terrorists.

Magdalena Andersson refused to deny Türkiye's statement that it had promised to deport individuals sought by Ankara as part of Stockholm's efforts to join NATO.

"We are the new normal." This was stated by the first transgender minister in Sweden Lina Axelsson Kilblom in 2018. She takes office a year after Belgium appointed the first deputy prime minister for transgender issues in Europe, Swedish television SVT reports.

Sweden's parliament on Nov. 24 approved Magdalena Andersson as the country's first female prime minister, tapping the finance minister who recently became the new leader of the Social Democratic party.

Andersson was tapped to replace Stefan Lofven as party leader and prime minister, roles he relinquished earlier this year.
