China Completes the Development of the Train Capable of Reaching 400 km / h.
Chinese specialists have come to the final details of developing new high-speed passenger trains capable of a speed of about 400 km / h. This is what the Chinese Academy of Engineering has announced on its website.

Following two crashes that killed 40 people, China’s fleet of high-speed trains had their speed capped at 300km/h. Next week, however, some of the trains will be permitted to run at 350km/h, shaving nearly an hour off the journey time between Beijing and Shanghai.
