Slovenian tourism to focus on more demanding markets
Ljubljana – Slovenian tourism is currently successfully recovering after the Covid-19 pandemic but there are many uncertainties about the autumn and winter ahead, Maja Pak, the head of the Slovenian Tourism Board (STO), told the STA. Still, the industry is united about the future course – attracting more demanding guests and offering high quality products.

According to Slovenian media, wearing a mask will remain mandatory in closed public spaces, just like using disinfectants and keeping the prescribed distance.

Croatian hooligans arrested in Serbia get plea bargain
They were arrested in mid-December during a football derby in the Serbian capital, on suspicion that they engaged in violent behavior at a sporting event.
According to the plea bargain agreement, Hrvoje Bakovic, Ante Firic, Jakov Podrug, Ivan Miskovic, and Stjepan Mihovilovic pleaded guilty and received from four to six months in prison, which they will serve in Serbia.
Croatian Journalist Threatened for Report on African Refugee
Maja Sever, a reporter for public broadcaster Croatian Radio-Television, HRT, received a death threat via Facebook Messenger late on Sunday night over the report on the African refugee, news site Index reported on Monday.
"A day will come when we'll execute you, you piece of trash," wrote the person who sent the threat, whose name has not yet been confirmed by police.
