During the last 24 hours, mountain rescue teams carried out two operations. In the first instance, assistance was rendered to two 16-year-old boys in Vitosha who were ill-prepared for the mountain's conditions and season. Venturing towards Mount Aleko, they strayed off the trail, reaching a point where they couldn't proceed and contacted emergency services at 112.

The unfortunate incident took place on Sunday, August 28 on the Via ferrata Malyovitsa.

The Mountain Rescue Service confirmed to BNT about the tragic incident.

The incident happened around noon, there were two boys with her who called the rescuers. The mountain rescuers responded immediately after receiving the signal.

Two teams of the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) were able to reach the Ukrainian tourist who got injured near Malyovitsa Peak, Ivan Dragushinov of MRS told Focus Radio. 

Over the past 24 hours, two distress calls have been received at the Mountain Rescue Service, rescuers told Focus News Agency. Yesterday, an operation took place near the Malyovitsa hut. The rescue team helped a person with a broken leg. Another accident involved a bad fall of a paraglider near Sopot.

Sofia. MRS teams have found two women lost in the area between Bezbog and Gotse Delchev chalets. This was reported by FOCUS News Agency by the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) to the Bulgarian Red Cross. The search for them began late Saturday night and continued at night.
