Manolas leaves Roma for Napoli
Greece center back Costas Manolas has transferred from Roma to Napoli in a deal worth 36 million euros that should boost the southern club's Serie A title credentials.
Roma announced the transfer on Sunday.
The 28-year-old Manolas joins Kalidou Koulibaly in what could become one of the top center back pairings in the Italian league.

Greece defender Manolas handed World Cup playoff ban
FIFA has suspended Greece defender Kostas Manolas from a World Cup playoff match for trying to manipulate his disciplinary record.
FIFA says Manolas was judged to be guilty of "intentionally seeking a yellow card" in a World Cup qualifying game. It triggered a one-match ban which he served in Greece's final qualifier, cleaning his record for the playoffs.
