Automotive exports leap to record $3.3 billion
The Turkish automotive sector's export revenues reached a monthly record of $3.3 billion in March, rising nearly 23 percent from a year ago.
This made automotive Türkiye's biggest exporting industry, with a 13.9 percent share in the country's export revenues last month, according to a statement from the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OİB).

Turkey’s passenger car exports hit $5 billion in first half
Local carmakers shipped nearly $5 billion worth of passenger cars to local markets in the first half of 2021, rising around 15 percent on an annual basis, data from the trading group have shown.

Turkey's auto production, exports up in H1
Turkey's automotive production, including light commercial vehicles, tractors, and automobiles, amounted to 639,661 units during the first half of this year, an association report said on July 12.
The six-month figure was up by 23.3 percent versus the first half of 2020, according to the Automotive Manufacturers Association.

Auto exports up by 40 percent in March
The automotive sector leading Turkish exports for 15 years has posted the second-highest March figures this year, according to data released by an industrial group.
Automotive exports increased by 40 percent to $2.9 billion in March, the Automotive Industry Exporters Association (OİB) data showed.
