More than 70 events at Imago Sloveniae
The summer season in Ljubljana will feature around 70 concerts by performers from 24 countries as part of two summer festivals running from 15 June to 22 September, the 35th Imago Sloveniae festival of classical music and the Nights in Old Ljubljana Town.
Imago Sloveniae opens with a concert of the Symphony Orchestra of the SNG Maribor theatre in Congress Square.

Škofja Loka Passion Play wins Maribor Theatre Festival
Maribor – The Škofja Loka Passion Play, a Jernej Lorenci-directed production of the early 18th century rhymed-verse parable of human salvation, won the main prize at the 57th Maribor Theatre Festival on Sunday, along with the award for best music.
Production based on Jančar’s award-winning novel premieres in Maribor
Maribor – A major international production, I Saw Her That Night, based on the novel by Drago Jančar and directed by Janez Pipan, will open at the Slovenian National Theatre (SNG) Maribor on Friday. The show was produced in cooperation with the Vienna Burgtheater, the Yugoslavian Drama Theatre and Ljubljana’s Cankarjev Dom.
Cultural institutions also closing doors due to coronavirus
The ministry said on Friday that the recommendation related to "closure of exhibitions, libraries, cancellation of shows, round table debates, workshops and other events attracting a large number of people."
Bob Geldof and Jesus Christ Superstar to headline Lent Festival
The main festival stage will be set up in the central Leon Štukelj square and is set to host La Traviata opera and the Faun-Carmen-Bolero ballet performance by the SNG Maribor Theatre, one of the festival's most important partners.
