Markets have 'priced in' political change in Greece, ND leader tells Bloomberg

Global markets are anticipating a change in the Greek political scene this year, opposition New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis has told Bloomberg.

"Markets have priced in a political change that favors investment in Greece and political stability after the national election," Mitsotakis was quoted as telling the agency in an interview in his Athens office last week.

ND leader points to plan to boost jobs and tackle poverty

In a speech in Karditsa, central Greece, conservative New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis declared that the problems of ruling SYRIZA should not become Greece's problems. 

"Greece will move forward, we Greeks deserve better than this," he said, saying that ND had a plan to boost growth and tackle joblessness which is particularly high in some provincial parts of Greece.
