First Apple Premium Partner Store in Greece set for launch
The first Apple Premium Partner Store in Greece will open on Saturday at The Mall Athens, with an inauguration ceremony at 1 p.m.
The iStorm store is one of only 10 such stores in Europe, serving as a vote of confidence by Apple in iStorm's prospects in Greece.
Strong rebound led by banks
The Athens stock market rebounded strongly Monday, on the back of bank shares' performance and positions on other blue chips.
The general index ended up 1.74%, at 1,285.27 points, on turnover of €108.5 million.

Basketball legend honored at friendly game
The legend of Greek basketball, Nikos Galis, received a standing ovation from thousands of fans in the Athens Olympics Stadium complex (OAKA) in northern Athens.
Before the start of the friendly match between Greece and Slovenia, Nikos Galis' jersey with the number 4 was raised up high above the court.

OTE Q2 revenue grows in Greece, offsetting Romania loss
OTE Group announced Thursday that second-quarter consolidated revenue rose 1.1% year-on-year, to €854.1 million.
But adjusted operating profit (after leases) fell 1.8% in the same period, to €326.8 million, with the strong results increase offset by negative ones in Romania. Q1 adjusted operating profit dropped 1.4%, to €648.8 million.

OTE’s Q1 profit rises on strong mobile business, cost savings
OTE Group, the country's biggest telecoms operator, reported a 4.6% rise in first-quarter net profit thanks to cost containment and its growing Greek mobile business.
Net profit came in at 135.3 million euros, up from 129.4 million euros in the first quarter last year.
OTE announces financial support for employees
OTE Group on Monday announced a windfall financial support package worth 6.2 million euros for its workers, in an effort to provide some relief against a backdrop of current economic and geopolitical tensions that have hit consumers' available income.
In an announcement, OTE said the support would help mostly low-income workers, offering net financial support of up to €1,000.
