Anonimul International Independent Film Festival to be held August 9-15 in Sfantu Gheorghe
The Anonimul International Independent Film Festival's 18th edition will take place between August 9 and 15, in Sfantu Gheorghe, in the Danube Delta. According to a press release of the Anonimul Foundation sent to AGERPRES on Tuesday, the call for entries for the short film competition is open until May 14.
CoD Petrescu to pay official visit to Netherlands
Romania's Chief of Defence Staff (CoD) Daniel Petrescu is paying an official visit to the Netherlands March 3-4. According to a press statement the National Defence Ministry (MApN) sent to AGERPRES, Petrescu is scheduled to meet Dutch Chief of Defence Rob Bauer to discuss bilateral co-operation inside NATO and the EU.

PNL: 2021 budget manages to cover all the state's financial obligations
Liberal deputy Bogdan Hutuca declared on Monday that the 2021 budget manages to cover "absolutely all the state's financial obligations". More than 1,000,000 people in Romania have got an appointment for COVID-19 vaccination on the appointment scheduling computer platform. According to the national vaccination platform, 129,225 people have been appointed to be immunised with AstraZeneca doses. Of these, 64,331 are women and 64,894 men.
Trade Register: 10,913 companies suspend activity in 2020
The number of companies that suspended their activity has gone down in 2020, by 22.27% from the previous year, reaching 10,913, according to the data published by the National Trade Register Office (ONRC).
