ANM: Blizzard, glaze and snowfalls starting Friday morning all over the country

The National Meteorology Administration [ANM] on Thursday issued a new warning of blizzard, snowfalls and glaze, valid throughout the country starting Friday morning.

According to meteorologists, between January 9, 10 am, local time, and January 10, 2 pm, there will be snowfalls, locally abundant, in all mountain areas.

MAE invites Libyan Embassy to discuss incident leading to Romanian sailor's death

The head of the Consular Department within MAE [Ministry of Foreign Affairs], Bogdan Stanescu, on Tuesday stated that MAE invited the Libyan Embassy in Bucharest to discuss over the 'circumstances and all that happened' during the January 4th incident when a Romanian sailor died, following an attack on the ship he was on, by a fighter plane.

Foreign Ministry: Romanian crewman killed in Libya by missile fired at ship

A Romanian and a Greek crewman were killed in Libya, after a missile fired by an unidentified fighter jet exploded on board their ship, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed on Monday at the request of AGERPRES.
