Romania's SARS-CoV-2 caseload increased by 2,989 in the last 24 hours following almost 37,000 tests performed nationwide, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reports on Thursday. These are all cases that have not previously had a positive test, the GCS states. As of today there were 1,039,998 cases of novel coronavirus infection confirmed in Romania, of which 959,126 were declared cured.

These are all cases that have not previously had a positive test, the GCS states. As of today there were 1,029,304 cases of novel coronavirus infection confirmed in Romania, of which 940,792 were declared cured.
Slovenia orders one million rapid tests
Ljubljana – The Health Ministry has picked Sanolabor as the supplier of a million rapid antigen test for mass testing for coronavirus. The medical supplier submitted the lowest bid among 22 bidders.
Sanolabor offered EUR 1.37 per test, with the total cost for the state amounting to EUR 1.137 million, show data published on the Public Procurement Portal.

Romania's COVID-19 caseload increased by 6,651 in the past 24 hours following more than 41,000 national tests performed; this takes the total number of infected persons to 919,794, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reported today. These are all cases that have not previously had a positive test, the GCS states. As many as 825,208 patients had been declared cured as of today.
Free testing to be available along Italian border
Ljubljana – The government has decided to launch a free-of-charge testing campaign near border crossings with Italy. Rapid antigen testing will be available from Wednesday for commuters, students being schooled across the border and owners of property across the border.

NIJZ data show one in three positive rapid tests false
Ljubljana – Data from the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) obtained by Radio Slovenija and the web portal Necenzurirano show that one out of three positive rapid antigen tests have been proved false through the more reliable PCR tests since 13 February.
