Meloni: Italy-Serbia bilateral relations exceptional

BELGRADE - Italian PM Giorgia Meloni said on Sunday in Belgrade Italy and Serbia had developed exceptional bilateral relations, especially in recent years.

At a press conference after a meeting with Aleksandar Vucic, Meloni thanked the Serbian president for the great hospitality during her first-ever visit to Serbia.

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Italian PM Giorgia Meloni in Belgrade on Sunday afternoon.

At a joint press conference after the meeting, Vucic said they had discussed all important issues and agreed that Serbia and Italy, as exceptionally friendly countries, maintained good political and economic relations.

She was met at the airport by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vui.
After a formal welcome in front of the Palace of Serbia, the tete-a-tete meeting between the Italian Prime Minister and the Serbian President began.
After the meeting, Meloni and Vui addressed the public.

Meloni to visit Athens, discuss stability pact, migration

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will pay a working visit to Athens on Thursday.

Meloni will meet with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis for a working dinner and, according to government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis, bilateral and regional issues and European agenda issues will be discussed. The dinner is scheduled at 7 p.m.

PM to address Parliament, welcome Italian PM Meloni on Thursday

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will address Parliament regarding the fires in Greece at 10:30 a.m on Thursday morning, his office said.

In an address before the order of business, the PM will speak of measures to support those affected by the fires and of actions to manage the repercussions of the climate crisis, a government statement said.
