Vucic meets with MEPs from Greens–European Free Alliance
Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic met Friday with a delegation of MEPs from the Greens–European Free Alliance group in the European Parliament.
The group was led by Philippe Lamberts, co-chairman of that political group.
Serbia remains committed to EU path, PM tells MEPs
Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday in Belgrade received a group of MEPs from the ranks of the European People's Party (EPP).
According to the government's website, he "expressed gratitude for the support they offer to Serbia on its path to the EU."

Mass surveillance: We are being watched
Too little has been done to safeguard citizens’ fundamental rights following revelations of electronic mass surveillance, say MEPs in a resolution voted on Thursday. They urge the EU Commission to ensure that all data transfers to the US are subject to an “effective level of protection” and ask EU member states to grant protection to Edward Snowden, as a “human rights defender”.

European Parliament approves €35 billion euro funding for Greece
Parliament on Tuesday backed a set of one-off measures aimed at boosting the effective spending of €35 billion earmarked for Greece in the EU 2014-2020 budget. This includes €20 billion from the European structural and investment funds and €15 billion from agricultural funds.

New Far-Right Political Group Emerges at EU Parliament
The leader of the French National Front Marine Le Pen announced in Brussels on Tuesday the establishment of a new far-right political group in the European Parliament.
The group bears the name Europe of Nations and Freedoms (ENF) and its co-presidents will be Le Pen and Marcel Graaff from Dutch Party for Freedom (PVV), EUobserver reports.
MEPs Deem Russia Is No Longer EU's Strategic Partner
The European Parliament adopted on Wednesday a non-legislative resolution, which deems that Russia is no longer a strategic partner of the EU.
The resolution also called on the EU to critically re-assess its relations with Russia and devise a soft-power plan to counter Moscow's aggressive and divisive policies.
