Forty children were among 51 people killed in a Saudi-led coalition air strike on a bus in rebel-held northern Yemen, the Red Cross said in a new toll Tuesday.

Some 16 foreign students -- 10 from Somalia, three from Djibouti, two from Guinea and one from Syria -- were rounded up for their alleged links to the Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETÖ) in the southern Mersin province, state-run Anadolu Agency reported on June 30, citing the Chief Prosecutor's Office.

A total of $1 million in cash will be donated to Yemen for humanitarian aid as part of a protocol signed between the Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay) and the Qatar Charity Foundation.

Ankara on May 10 expressed concerns over the recent developments on Yemen's Socotra Island after the United Arab Emirates dispatched its military to the island last week. 

Qatar denied on April 23 that its military planes had intercepted a civilian aircraft from the United Arab Emirates the day before, states news agency QNA reported, saying a UAE military plane had violated its air space at the time.

The Gulf crisis, which has seen Qatar isolated by Saudi Arabia and its allies, is not on the table at the upcoming meeting of Arab League states, Riyadh's foreign minister said on April 12.
