Three killed in separate road accidents
Three people were killed and one person was injured in separate traffic accidents late on Thursday and early on Friday morning in Attica.
At around 8.30 p.m., a bus struck a 49-year-old cyclist, who was originally from India, on the Metamorfosi-Ano Patisia route in Nea Filadelfia. The cyclist was transferred to hospital, where he subsequently died.

Athens banks targeted in series of attacks
A series of attacks targeting banks across Attica took place early on Monday morning.
At 2.38 a.m. two ATMs and the facade of a Piraeus Bank branch in Agios Dimitrios were damaged by vandals.
That was followed at 3.39 a.m. by an arson attack on an ATM at the Eurobank branch in Galatsi.

Snow warning for weekend motorists
Drivers planning to use the national highway northeast of Athens and south of the capital through the highlands of the Peloponnese were advised on Friday to stow snow chains in their trunks and keep themselves informed of conditions on the roads this weekend after meteorologists warned of heavy snowfall and icy conditions in a fresh cold snap.

Manhunt launched for masked gunman
Police in Athens on Tuesday were seeking the masked gunman who held up a betting shop in the northern suburb of Metamorfosi on Monday night, the fourth armed robbery of an OPAP agency in the Greek capital in a week.
The assailant threatened the store's manager with a gun and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Fourth Athens betting agency held up in a week
A masked gunman held up a betting shop in the northern Athens suburb of Metamorfosi on Monday night in what was the fourth armed robbery of an OPAP outlet in the Greek capital in a week.
The unidentified assailant threatened the store's manager and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is being sought by authorities.
