Parents of three die in Athens apartment, possibly from gas fire fumes
The parents of three children aged 11, 17 and 19 years old were found dead in their bed in an apartment in downtown Athens' Metaxourgeio district in the early hours of Friday, possibly as a result of inhaling fumes from a gas heater.

The Greek Film Archive's Lais open-air cinema is hosting a tribute to movies shot in famous urban settings, showing 13 films shot in 11 cities. The program begins at 8.30 p.m. on Thursday with Wim Wenders' 1995 "Lisbon Story." Subsequent screenings will take place at 8.30 and 10.30 p.m.

Local surreal cabaret act Opera Chaotique takes the stage at El Convento del Arte on Thursday, April 18, performing tracks from all three of the duo's genre-mixing albums. Trashman's Dilemma | Athens | November & December
The Apo Michanis Theater presents "Trashman's Dilemma," a dystopian drama by Canadian playwright and actor Bruce Gooch, for three shows only on November 30 and December 7 and 14. The original New Fangled Stages production, which is in English, features the author himself, along with Lynn Vogt, Jon Osbaldeston and Davydd Cook. Performances start at 9 p.m.

The Street Food & Tunes festival at Bios on Sunday, November 18, is inspired by the concept of a Mediterranean brunch menu and all proceeds will go toward the Merima charity for children and teenagers.
