Olympic champ Mete Gazoz nabs bronze medal in world cup
Olympic gold medalist recurve archer Mete Gazoz has won the bronze medal in the 2022 World Cup Final held in Mexico's Tlaxcala.
In the finals, the last of this year's open-air archery activities, eight athletes who were qualified for direct participation or thanks to points they earned during the year competed.

Brazilian author Coelho dedicates his book to Turkish Olympic champ Gazoz
Best-selling writer Paulo Coelho dedicated his latest book The Archer to Turkish Olympic champion Mete Gazoz.

Erdoğan praises Olympic champ for promoting archery
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has declared 22-year-old Mete Gazoz, a recurve archer who bagged a gold medal in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, an "idol" at a dinner ceremony held at the Presidential Complex in the capital Ankara.
