Today, the cold front will pass through Eastern Bulgaria. Before noon, most of the country will see considerable cloudiness with short spells of rain, accompanied by lightning in places but clearing skies are expected across Western Bulgaria. There will be moderate, in Northern Bulgaria temporarily strong west wind. The maximum temperatures will range between 13°C and 18°C.

Increasing cloudiness from west is forecast for today. Rains will start from northwest, first in Western Bulgaria and in the night in the rest of the country, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology told FOCUS News Agency.

Istanbul cloaked in heavy shawl of fog

The order come after a week of extremely low temperatures and heavy snowfall throughout the country, followed by above 0-degrees Celsius daily temperatures on Monday.

Today will see considerable cloudiness. Before noon, reduced visibility will be likely in places across the plains and valleys, and in the afternoon, it will start raining, mostly lightly, mainly in the southwestern areas.
