Pakistan's Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Feb. 22 thanked his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu for Ankara's steadfast support to Islamabad on a range of issues.

A Turkish delegation will visit Washington on Feb. 5 for the meetings of Turkey-US working groups on Syria, fight against PKK and on consular issues. On Feb. 6, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will participate anti-ISIL meeting in Washington and is likely to have talks with his American counterpart Pompeo.

Discussions between Turkey and the U.S. will unfold whether the perceptions of the two countries regarding the safe zone in Syria are overlapping, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on Jan. 17.

There are countries and some circles within the U.S. administration trying to dissuade Washington on its decision to withdraw troops from Syria, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has said.
