Bulgaria MPs Debating Constitutional Changes
Bulgaria's Prime Minister Boyko Borisov on Wednesday urged lawmakers to vote in favor of constitutional changes.
Alongside Justice Minister Hristo Ivanov, he visited Parliament as MPs had just started their debate on a series of constitutional amendments tabled before summer recess began in July.

Bulgarian Socialists Expel Lawmaker over Mayoral Bid
The Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) has expelled Georgi Kadiev, a lawmaker known for his often dissenting views, over his decision to run for Mayor of Sofia in October's local elections.
At an extraordinary voting session, 37 BSP lawmakers unanimously approved the step, the Bulgarian National Television quotes party spokesman Atanas Merdzhanov as saying.
