BELGRADE - The Prime Ministers of Serbia and China, Aleksandar Vucic and Li Keqiang, opened on Thursday the Mihajlo Pupin Bridge connecting Belgrade neighborhoods Zemun and Borca.

The opening of a new bridge across the Danube in Belgrade has been spoiled by a row over the black marble panel commemorating the event, which looked remarkably like traditional gravestone - and has since been removed.

The stone was built by the Chinese and brought to Serbia as a gift, the Ministry of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure, explained.

Belgrade's new Danube bridge officially opened

BELGRADE -- Prime ministers of Serbia and China Aleksandar Vucic and Li Keqiang on Thursday officially opened the new bridge over the Danube River in Belgrade.

A large number of citizens, public figures and officials attended the ceremony.

BELGRADE - Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali hosted on Thursday a reception for the Serbian science team who won a gold medal and a gold cup at the recent Inno Design Tech Expo in Hong Kong, the world's largest exhibition of innovations, latest technologies and practical design solutions.

The awards were presented for the ragweed control device designed by Milos Stankovic.

Software traces for hidden carcinoma

Detection of primary carcinoma is now possible with software called DECIM, which was developed by doctor Jelena Vasiljević, science advisor on "Mihajlo Pupin" Institute.
