Mojsilovic visits Cyprus

NICOSIA - Serbian Armed Forces (SAF) Chief of General Staff Gen Milan Mojsilovic began a three-day visit to Cyprus on Tuesday with discussions about bilateral military cooperation and opportunities for its advancement as well as contemporary regional and global security challenges.

Dendias to pay official visit to Cyprus on Thursday

Defence Minister Nikos Dendias will make an official visit to Cyprus on Thursday to meet with country officials.

He will first be received by Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides at the Presidential Mansion and will later have a private meeting with the Defence Minister Michalis Georgallas. After the talks the two ministers will make statements to the press.

Greek F-16s take part in Steel Arrow exercise in solidarity with Cyprus

In an indication of Greece's commitment to support Cyprus, three Greek F-16 jets flew over the Eastern Mediterranean island on Thursday during a joint training exercise with the Cypriot National Guard dubbed Steel Arrow.

It came on the heels of a smaller exercise involving Cypriot forces and a French frigate earlier in the week.

Greek jets fly over Larnaca in joint military drill

Two Greek F-16 jets flew over Larnaca's Kalo Chorio firing range on Thursday morning, while a training exercise of the Cypriot National Guard was in progress.

According to Cyprus News Agency, this is the final phase of a training exercise dubbed "Steel Arrow," where armoured passenger transport vehicles were put to the test.

Mitsotakis: 'Transgressive behavior' against Cyprus will not go unanswered

In an address to Greek soldiers stationed on Cyprus on Tuesday, on the second day of an official visit, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis declared "any transgressive behavior" against Cyprus would not go unanswered.

"We live in a turbulent time, full of challenges and instability," Mitsotakis said in a speech at the Malounda army camp of the Hellenic Forces in Cyprus (ELDYK).
