Russia's Defense Ministry said that one of its helicopters has crashed in Syria on May 7, killing both pilots.

Russia's Defense Ministry says that a Russian military helicopter has crashed in Syria, killing both pilots aboard.

Serbia is in talks with Russia on buying six Mil Mi-17 multipurpose helicopters and setting up a helicopter repair center, Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin said in a live broadcast of the country's national television on Thursday.

Moscow and Belgrade are preparing to sign an agreement on maintenance of helicopters from the other countries at facilities located in Serbia, Serbia's Acting Assistant Minister for Material Resources Nenad Miloradovic told Sputnik on Tuesday.

Turkey has been in the procurement process for an obstacle-detection and warning system for military helicopters since 2010, but the Undersecretariat for Defense Industries has not been able to finalize the tender yet.
