Anastasiades ready to pick up where talks left off

Ankara, Athens seek ways to revive failed Cyprus talks
The Turkish Foreign Ministry called on all parties of the Cyprus talks to determine a date for an immediate five-party conference, with the participation of Turkey, Greece and the United Kingdom as guarantor powers, along with the island's two communities, amid a parallel continuation of negotiations.
Tsipras, Erdogan to meet for talks on Cyprus in early December
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan still plan to meet and discuss the Cyprus dispute despite the breakdown of peace talks late Monday between Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish-Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci, according to reports on Tuesday.

The latest round of Cyprus talks collapsed once again due to what Turkish Cypriots claimed were the "maximalist demands" of the Greek Cypriot side, and Greek Cypriots lamented the uncompromising position of the Turks. Cyprus reunification talks yield no results
The United Nations announced on Tuesday that negotiations between Cypriot Greeks and Turks on reuniting Cyprus have failed.
Reuters is reporting that the talks in Switzerland between Greek Cypriot leader Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci lasted for two days.
