Censure motion/ PSD MPs step out of plenary hall, PNL inquires about gendarmes on site

The Social Democratic Party (PSD) deputy leader, Daniel Suciu, said on Thursday, after the Social Democrats stepped out of the plenary hall, that the Opposition representatives "do not even have a quorum and are trying some cons," adding that "it is a first when three or four parties submitting a censure motion run away from their own motion."

Gendarmes intervene amongst protesters in Victory Square, two gendarmes attacked

Bucharest, Aug 10 /Agerpres/ - A column of gendarmes moving, Friday evening, amongst the protesters in Victory Square, in front of the Government building, was attacked by some protesters, two of them being isolated and attacked, spurning an intervention of the gendarmes to clear the square.

Pics of Turkish frigate “Turgut Reis” at Piraeus port

The The Turkish frigate TCG Turgut Reis reached the port of Piraeus on Saturday.

The frigate belongs to the multinational force SNMG2, along with eight more warships from the US, Canada, Germany, Spain and Italy, while from the Greek side the participant frigate is named “Koundouriotis”. All ships are expected to depart for their next stop later on Sunday.

Turkish military vessels enter Greek waters

Five Turkish warships taking part in the Beyaz Firtina 2014 naval exercise entered Greek territorial waters in the Aegean Sea on Monday.

In a statement, Greece’s National Defense General Staff (GEETHA) said the Kemal Reis, Meltem, Imbat, Ruzgar and Firtina vessels did not stay within the annual drill’s delineated area and were observed sailing around the Cyclades island complex.
