Forgotten Victims: Serbs Targeted in Bosnia-Croatia Border Village Killings

On that same day in Traktorska Street in Sijekovac, a village near the northern Bosnian town of Bosanski Brod, where Milosevic still lives, soldiers and members of paramilitary groups, some of which consisted of locals Croats and Bosniaks, killed his father Luka and two brothers, Zeljko and Dragan, who was 17. Zeljko's body has never been found.

Rocket attack hits Iraq military base housing US forces

An Iraqi military base that houses U.S. forces was targeted by a rocket attack on Jan. 14, an Iraqi army officer said.

Al-Taji military airbase located 85 kilometers (some 53 miles) north of the capital Baghdad was targeted by at least two Katyusha rockets, an army captain told Anadolu Agency on condition of anonymity as he is not authorized to speak to media outlets.

4 Iraqi servicemen wounded by rocket attack on air base

Four members of Iraq's military were wounded on Jan. 12 in a rocket attack targeting an airbase just north of Baghdad where American trainers were present until recently, Iraqi security officials said.

The attack by at least six rockets came just days after Iran fired ballistic missiles at two bases in Iraq that house U.S. forces, causing no casualties.

At least two rockets hit near US embassy in Baghdad

Two rockets hit near the U.S. embassy in Iraq's capital on Jan. 5, witnesses told AFP, hours after the ambassador was summoned over a U.S. strike that killed top Iraqi and Iranian commanders.     

Jan. 5's attack was the second night in a row that the Green Zone was hit and the 14th time over the last two months that U.S. installations have been targeted.
