Parliamentary commission on coup attempt to hear from Erdoğan's brother-in-law

A parliamentary commission on Turkey's thwarted July 15 military coup attempt is set to hear the opinions of prominent figures including President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's brother-in-law, Ziya İlgen, from whom Erdoğan said he first learned about the coup attempt.

In the new bill prepared by the Justice Ministry, even though there are positive aspects, there are also quite a few concerning articles. 

It is as if the Justice Ministry wishes to normalize the laws made under the state of emergency and is consequently introducing amendments in criminal and procedural laws.

It is indeed a very inspiring initiative. I suddenly found myself listing our common values. Not all are positive but most of them are. The list could go on and on, but let me give you my own list.

Road Repairs, Metro Construction Lead to New Traffic Arrangements in Sofia

Starting from Tuesday, road repairs and construction of the third line of the underground have necessitated the introduction of new traffic arrangements in the Bulgarian capital.

New organisation of traffic is in place at the intersection of Pencho Slaveikov boulevard and Georgi Sofiiski street in the centre of Sofia due to the construction of the third metro line.
