Turkish army refutes speculations over top soldier's leave
The Turkish army and Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu have refuted claims that Chief of General Staff Gen. Necdet Özel left his office because of a disagreement with the government over military intervention in Syria, underlining he will be back to his job after recovering from a medical procedure.
Turkey's top commander takes 15-day medical leave
Turkish Chief of Staff Gen. Necdet Özel has taken a medical leave of 15 days, military sources have told daily Hürriyet.
The situation came out when Gen. Özel did not appear at the General Staff Headquarters on May 9 at a time
there are rumors of a military intervention in Syria.

Retired diplomats of the Turkish Foreign Ministry will march on April 25 to honor Turkish diplomats assassinated by Armenian radicals between 1973 and 1985, the Organization Committee of Retired Turkish Ambassadors said in a written statement on April 19.

Ministry of Defense applies for Ottoman soldier's belongings
The personal belongings of Ottoman soldier and politician Enver Pa?a, which were provided by his family and put up for auction by Istanbul Müzayede on April 5, were bought by the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.
