21 ISIL militants 'neutralized' in northern Syria: Turkish military

The Turkish army has "neutralized" 21 Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) militants in northern Syria over the last 24 hours as part of the ongoing Euphrates Shield operation, the military announced on Feb. 6.       

Authorities use the word "neutralized" to refer to militants who are killed, wounded or captured.

According to The Associated Press, Gen. James Mattis was once introduced at his Senate confirmation hearings as “a humble man with very little to be humble about”.

McCain Says US Should Send Javelin Missiles to Ukraine

BELGRADE - US President Donald Trump should send Javelin FGM-148 handheld anti-tank missiles to Kiev to support Ukraine government forces, Senator John McCain told Sputnik.

When asked on Thursday what kind of weapons the United States should send to arm Ukrainian government forces, McCain named Javelin anti-tank missiles and counter-battery armor.

Trump administration sends armored vehicles to Syrian rebels

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), an alliance of Arab and Kurdish forces in northern Syria, has received armored vehicles from the US, indicating increased support from Washington under the administration of President Donald Trump.
A small number of vehicles arrived four or five days ago, SDF spokesman Talal Silo told Reuters.

Bulgaria Ready for Schengen, EU's Tajani Tells President Radev

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and European Parliament President Antonio Tajani met on Monday evening as part of Radev's visit to Brussels that continues Tuesday.

Radev's press office quotes Tajani as saying Bulgaria meets all requirements to join the Schengen area without border control, but the decision has to be taken with consensus from all members.
