Minister Aurescu to host Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies, on Wednesday

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu, will host in New York the 10th Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. According to the MAE (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), the conference will take place in a hybrid system, and the head of Romanian diplomacy will be joined in New York by Thomas E.

Počivalšek talks WTO reform with EU peers

Brussels – Attending a session of the EU’s Trade Policy Council, Economy Minister Zdravko Počivalšek discussed the reform of the World Trade Organization (WTO) with his EU counterparts in Brussels on Thursday. Počivalšek said that Slovenia was ready to cooperate to affirm the importance of the WTO during its EU presidency.

World Trade Organization ground-breaking deal for development

The 10th WTO Ministerial Conference, gathered in Nairobi since Tuesday, agreed on Sunday on a global trade deal that benefits developing countries in Africa and around the world by getting rid of trade distorting export subsidies in agriculture. As regards EU producers, they will for the first time see a level playing field in export competition, a key priority for EU negotiators.

Dacic on regional police cooperation in Opatija

OPATIJA - Ministerial conference on contemporary challenges in regional police cooperation, attended by Serbia's outgoing Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic, started on Tuesday in Opatija, Croatia.

On the fringes of the conference, Dacic also conferred with Simonetta Sommaruga, Swiss Federal Minister of Police and Justice.
