At the end of last year, for the first time in the last years, the troops arrived in the Bulgarian Army were more than those wo left. However, the unskilled military personnel in the army remains about 20 per cent. This was said at a press conference in Yambol Deputy Chief of Defense Lieutenant General Dimitar Iliev.
The Collegium of the minister of defense and the chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army will consider the security situation in the country and its surroundings.
The meeting is presided by Defense Minster Aleksandar Vulin and held in the Banjica 2 barracks in the capital, the MoD said in a statement.
Kosovo's Defence Ministry will have six million more euros to spend in the 2019 budget than it had last year - after the country's parliament voted to expand the competences of the current lightly armed Kosovo Security Force, KSF, and start its transformation into a regular army.
The budget planned for defence in 2019 is 58.7 million euros; the previous year it was 52.3 million.
