Croatian FM's claims about reciprocal measures untrue - Serbian MFA

BELGRADE - The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday dismissed as untrue claims by Croatia's FM Gordan Grlic Radman and the country's foreign ministry that Zagreb's decision to declare a consul at the Serbian embassy in Croatia a persona non grata was a reciprocal measure.

BELGRADE - The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs decided on Monday to declare Croatian diplomat Hrvoje Snajder persona non grata in accordance with Article 9 of the Vienna Convention on diplomatic and consular relations.

Snajder is first secretary at the Croatian embassy in Belgrade.

FM Gerapetritis to take part in EU’s Foreign Affairs Council meeting on Monday

Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis traveled to Brussels on Sunday to take part in the EU's Foreign Affairs Council meeting on Monday.

The meeting will focus on the crisis in the Middle East, the war in Ukraine, the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the European Economy Security Strategy, reported the Foreign Ministry.

Dacic, Nakamura discuss Serbia-Japan bilateral ties

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met on Tuesday with senior Japanese foreign ministry official Kimitake Nakamura, who is in Belgrade for regular bilateral political consultations between the foreign ministries of Serbia and Japan.

Nakamura holds the position of deputy director-general for European affairs and Western Balkans ambassador.
