Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias met with US Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs, Jessica Lewis, and US Ambassador to Athens, George Tsunis, at the National Defense Ministry in Athens on Monday. 

Romanian Defense Minister Angel Tîlvăr confirmed that parts of a Russian drone fell on the territory of Romania.

CNN's Antena 3 TV noted that the parts of the drone were found in the area of Plauru settlement in Tulcea county, after Russia carried out several attacks in recent days on the Ukrainian ports of Izmail and Reni, located near the border with Romania.

The Minister of National Defence, Nicolae Ciuca, will participate, on Wednesday and Thursday, in the informal meeting of the defence ministers from the member states of the European Union, in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
