Graffiti appeared in North Mitrovica this morning: "We are waiting for you" PHOTO

The photos were shared on numerous accounts of Albanian social network users.
Similar graffiti had been written on the streets of North Mitrovica before, as well as in other municipalities in the north of Kosovo, but now the signature "North Brigade" appeared for the first time.
Graffiti can be seen on the main promenade and in bars around the city.

The vehicles are stationed near the eastern bridge that divides South and North Mitrovica, and members of the ROSU are armed with long barrels. The situation is calm at the moment.
Namely, this morning, the Kosovo Police announced that the vehicles of the border police in the village of Zupe in Zubin Potok were shot at.

German Diplomat Criticises Renovation of Nazi Ally’s House in Kosovo

The German ambassador to Pristina, Joern Rohde, said on Monday that he is "very concerned" about the renovation of the former house of "known Nazi collaborator" Xhafer Devi in the northern Kosovo town of Mitrovica.

"No history whitewashing! Don't distort the truth about the Holocaust or war crimes committed by the Nazis and local collaborators," Rohde wrote on Twitter.

The Director of Israeli Simon Wiesenthal Center office in Jerusalem, Efraim Zuroff, referred to the initiative to renovate the house of Xhafer Deva, a loyal collaborator of the Nazis, in the north of Kosovo.
Zuroff said it is demeaning for the victims of the Nazis and their local collaborators.

Kosovo Police Clash With Serbs in Anti-Smuggling Crackdown

Kosovo Police clashed with Kosovo Serb protesters in the divided northern town of Mitrovica on Wednesday as they conducted an operation against the smuggling of goods in the town.

Kosovo Serbs threw different explosive devices at the police and put up blockades of trucks on roads close to the technical high school in Serb-run North Mitrovica.

According to a reporter from Kosovo Online, the Kosovo police who came from South Mitrovica broke into one of the city pharmacies to check Kosovo's customs papers.
After that, the people gathered, expressing dissatisfaction with the mentioned operation, and the situation escalated when the Kosovo police started throwing shock bombs and tear gas.

Amid Border Tensions, Kosovo Police Deny Beating Serbs

Kosovo's police inspectorate did not make clear on Friday whether or not it intends to further investigate the alleged beating by police of three ethnic Serbs near the border with Serbia, where tensions are high amid continuing protests parked by a dispute between Pristina and Belgrade over vehicle licence plates.
