Bulgarian Scientists Foresee Economic Growth of 1.4 % in 2015
According to the forecast of the economists from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAN), the economy of the country will record a growth of 1.4 % in 2015.
This became clear after the annual report of the Economic Research Institute to BAN was presented on Monday, daily Sega reports.

Greek deflation steady in April, prices fall for 26th month
Greek consumer prices fell 2.1 percent year-on-year in April, with the annual pace of deflation unchanged from the previous month, data from the country's statistics service showed on Friday.
Greece's EU-harmonized deflation rate slowed, showing prices fell by 1.8 percent in April from a 1.9 percent decline in March.

Hanke Praises China's Recent Move, Foresees Troubles for Greece
Economics Professor Steve Hanke praised China's recent move to lower its reserve requirements and predicted further troubles for Greek banks unless recapitalised.
Hanke, who is professor at Johns Hopkins University and Senior Director of the Troubled Currencies Project at Cato Institute, said this in a recent interview for Russia Today.

Greek consumer prices fell 2.6 percent in December, with the annual pace of deflation accelerating from a 1.2 percent drop in November, data from the country's statistics service showed on Tuesday.
Greece's EU-harmonized deflation rate also picked up, showing a 2.5 percent fall in December from a 1.2 percent drop in November.

Greek consumer prices fell 1.2 percent in November, with the annual pace of deflation decelerating from a 1.7 percent drop in October, data from the country's statistics service showed on Tuesday.
Greece's EU-harmonized deflation rate also slowed down to -1.2 in November from a 1.8 percent drop in October, lower than a 1.6 percent decline expected by economists in a Reuters poll.
