Dozens of young people kneeled under the scorching sun this week in Rio de Janeiro's rural interior, planting a green corridor that will be a future safe passageway for the region's most emblematic and endangered species, the golden lion tamarin.
Endangered white tiger cub seized in Istanbul
Istanbul gendarmerie units have carried out an operation on a farm in the Silivri district upon notifications that a foreign national was feeding predators and found a 4-month-old white tiger and an 8-month-old Rhesus monkey.
Security units determined that the animals which were kept in cages were illegally brought into Turkey from India.

Deprived of their preferred food source, the bananas, peanuts and other goodies brought in by tourists now kept away by the coronavirus, hungry monkeys on the resort island of Bali have taken to raiding villagers' homes in their search for something tasty.

The monkeys grab valuables, such as glasses, hats, cameras or, in one case, a wad of cash from the ticket booth, then wait for temple staff to offer them food before dropping their ill-gotten gains and dashing off with the tasty prize (see video below).
“Mowgli girl” found in India! (video)
An 8-year-old girl was found living in the jungle in India living with monkeys and acting like an animal. The “Mowgli girl”, who was discovered by police, reportedly communicates with screeches and walks on all fours and was living in a remote nature reserve in Bahraich, northern India. She has already been dubbed the “Mowgli girl” due to the similarities of her story with the Jungle Book.

Monkey attacks child in Istanbul
A pet monkey escaped from a balcony of a house and attacked children playing in a park in the Fatih district of Istanbul on Sept. 22.
The monkey bit a six-year-old child in the park and injured him, prompting his mother to file a complaint against the owner of the monkey.

Monkey drop kicks man! (funny video)
We have probably heard of the expression ‘monkey business’, but the footage from the following video gives its meaning a more literal sense. The CCTV footage emerged from an incident, reportedly from India and shows a monkey racing up to an unsuspected man and drop kicking him in the back.
