EuroParliament: Online content without borders

If you’ve ever attempted to tune in to your on-demand film service while abroad somewhere in the European Union only to discover that your subscription doesn’t work because it’s been blocked, you’ll be happy to know that a new online copyright law currently being examined by the European Parliament could put an end to such troubles.

The ratification by Parliament of a bill for the privatization of the former airport plot at Elliniko, on the southern coast of Athens, is a very positive development, and particularly so as it was backed by a significant majority of MPs.

Photojournalists satisfied with lawmakers' decision

Photojournalists welcomed on Tuesday the Serbian parliament's decision to reject the draft interpretation of the law on copyright and related rights.

The draft said that copyright protection cannot extend to "routinely produced photographs appearing and taken over in electronic form, regardless of whether it is the author's original creation."
