Zeugma Museum's enchanting mosaics lure visitors
The world-famous mosaics in the Zeugma Museum, such as the "Gypsy Girl" mosaic, the "Mars statue," the Roman fountains and other unique mosaics unearthed during the rescue excavations in the villas on the Euphrates River, are being protected by a team of eight experts of Gaziantep Restoration Conservation Regional Laboratories in an effort to preserve them for future generations. Mosaics in house move to Zeugma Museum
Byzantine-era mosaics found on the floor of a house during illegal excavations in the southeastern province of Gaziantep have been divided into 98 pieces after two years of work and started being moved to the Zeugma Mosaic Museum.

Local tourists rush to Hatay Archaeology Museum
The Archeology Museum, where 3,500 square meters of mosaics are exhibited in the southern province of Hatay's Antakya district, has become a popular place for local tourists. The museum, which is home to the world's largest mosaic display area, includes a statue of the Hittite King Suppiluliuma II, dating back 3,000 years, as well as many architectural finds.

Unique Christ Pantocrator Medallion on display at Çorum Museum
A 1,500-year-old golden medallion depicting a figure of Jesus Christ is on display at a museum in Turkey's northern province of Çorum.
The medallion was found by treasure hunters during illegal excavations in 2017 and was later seized by security teams after a successful anti-smuggling operation. The medallion has been included in the inventory of the Çorum Museum.
