Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has invoked his parliamentary right to turn New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis' no-confidence motion against his alternate health minister Pavlos Polakis into a vote of confidence in the government.

Potami leader Theodorakis keeps cards close to chest on Prespes vote

Confirming that his party would vote against the government in the confidence vote on Wednesday, centrist Potami leader Stavros Theodorakis declared that a vote of confidence in the government was tantamount to support for the Prespes deal but contended that the opposite does not apply. 

Kammenos removes Kokkalis from ANEL group of MPs

Independent Greeks (ANEL) leader Panos Kammenos dismissed Deputy Agricultural Development Minister Vassilis Kokkalis from ANEL's parliamentary group on Monday shortly after the latter confirmed that he would support the government in a vote of confidence this week.

The ejection of Kokkalis from ANEL's group followed that of Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura.
